Morison School Supplies is the Bay Area's leading retailer of educational supplies for teachers and parents. We have been supplying the Bay Area's educational needs since 1957. We are currently seeking to fill a fulltime Sales floor position at our San Carlos Store.

Responsibilities: Assist retail customers with their educational needs, cashiering, stock merchandise, create seasonal displays, etc.

Qualifications: Customer service oriented person with good communication skills, basic math skills, ability to multitask. Retail skills a plus.

Hours: 40 hours a week, no nights or Sundays. Morrison's is open Monday thru Friday 8:30 - 6:00 and Saturday 10:00 - 4:00.

Part Time Retail Sales Associate-Music Shop (sunset / parkside)

Small music store looking for a part time person with music experience or background. Applicant should be able to demonstrate music-reading ability. Must like helping people, have good customer service skills and be a self starter with a team-oriented attitude. Should have the ability to prioritize and manage time efficiently. Previous retail experience is a plus but not required.

BOTH ASSISTANT STORE MANAGER & A SELLING SUPERVISOR NEEDED FOR THIS RETRO-VINTAGE CHIC GOODWILL STORE LOCATED IN THE TRENDY HAIGHT ASHBURY DISTRICT OF SF.

the Assistant Store Manager is responsible for assisting in the management of a retail store to achieve or exceed sales goals, providing excellent customer service, maintaining a clean safe and pleasant environment, and implementing the agency's mission. Under the direct supervision of the Store Manager. Please have 2 years of management experience and 2 years of retail experience. Some job duties include the following:

*Perform basic supervisory duties; resolve routine personnel problems, supervise and evaluate work in progress to achieve desired results and sales goals. This includes correct and timely completion of employee performance appraisals, preparation of disciplinary reports and takes corrective action as required.
*Perform sales and trend analysis.
*Deliver excellent customer service, anticipating the expectations of our targeted customer base and fulfilling those needs to bolster customer attraction and retention.
*Assist with visual theme merchandising, including window displays, signing/colorizing and accessorizing merchandise.
*Assist in loss prevention efforts by monitoring for counterfeit identifiers and basic fraud, engaging in 'meet and greet' strategies and other proactive (instead of reactive) activities in order to deter theft.
*Consult and communicates with Store Manager on progress of program goals and other information as necessary.
*Monitor store inventory levels and insure that merchandise is properly stocked and maintained.
*Maintain a clean, neat and organized environment for customers and employees.
*Assist in training new employees and on-going training to maintain/insure employee skill levels.
*Oversee and participate in the deposit of daily store receipts, and completes related record-keeping requirements.
*Respond to the more complex or unusual customer concerns or questions regarding prices, sales, exchanges, and merchandise specifics in a courteous and professional manner.
*Interface effectively with other departments, such as Human Resources, Accounting, Transportation, Transitional Employment and Processing in order to maximize opportunities.
*Ensure store areas are free of safety hazards and instruct staff in proper safety procedures.
*Participate as a management team to ensure smooth, continuous store operations.
*Exhibit and /or models a professional retail image to the public and staff at all times.
*Supervise the work of client participants in Goodwill's vocational rehabilitation/training program, documents the progress of their training, and attends staffings' and conferences as required.
*Attend staff meetings and relevant in-service and external training.
*Adhere to all safety practices. Reports any hazardous conditions to the Human Resources Department immediately.
*Perform other related duties as assigned

Requirements: *2 years of management experience. *2 years of retail experience. *Strong customer relations experience. *Proficient with basic math and/or accounting. *Ability to lift a minimum of 35 lbs. *Familiar with cash registers and Point-of-Sale register experience.

Education, Certificates and Licenses: **High School diploma**NRF Certification highly desireable

The Selling Supervisor helps drives retail sales in stores through direct selling and customer service and by closes mentoring and training of staff. The Selling Supervisor maintains a clean and pleasant selling environment and assists store management with store operations. Some job duties include the following:
**Work closely with store management and fellow peers to achieve the store sales goals
**Trains new employees in job performance, and provides on-going training to ensure current skill level of employees, including but not limited to cashiering, merchandising, customer relations, and store safety.

Requirements: ^At least one year in retail, with experience in supervision, product management and merchandising. ^Experience in back-room production is desired. ^Excellent interpersonal skills. ^Math and/or Accounting proficiency. ^Familiarization with cash registers/POS, 10-key adding machine, calculator, and other equipment operations pertinent to the work. ^Requires standing on hard-surfaced floor for extended periods. ^Requires ability to perform some lifting to a minimum of 35 lbs.
