eMule 0.50a Beta 1

Many small but nonetheless important fixes and changes were made, but the main features of this new version are:

* Making eMules file verifying algorithm future proof by combining the ed2k hash with the AICH hash to identify and verify downloaded parts and files. This guarantuees that existing and newly found MD4 weaknesses will not affect eMules ability to deliver uncorrupted files in the future.
* Several GUI improvements, like supporting new taskbar features of Windows7, easier access to download commands by adding a new toolbar, a improved shared files dialog and a brand new Kad graph to look and wonder at
* Better usability in small LANs by adjusting Kad to such an environment and supporting highspeed uploads
* And as always fixing bugs and adding other small changes

would fail in a small LAN), 

and also doesn't enforces several security features like flood 
detection for LAN IPs. Now even a small Kad LAN of 2 nodes works well 
without any setup issues

(To create such a Kad LAN, make sure all clients have 
Options->Extended->"Filter server and client LAN IPS" disabled,  
delete the existing nodes.dat if necessary, go to the Kad dialog and 
enter the IP+Port of one other client (which is either connected or in 
connecting mode for Kad) to the bootstrap box - done)

+ AICH-Hash + Size. This means eMule is now using two hashing 
algorithms combined (based on MD4 and SHA1) to verify if a received part
(and eventually the comlete files) is not corrupt

This change is necessary due to weaknesses in the MD4 algorithm and 
enables eMule to make sure to never complete a corrupt files for the 
next decade

All changes are backwards compatible, so no clients or files will be 
exluded from the network

.: AICH part hashsets are build out of existing AICH recovery hashsets, 
no rehashing is done

.: AICH verification is enabled when using an ed2k link with included 
AICH hash, or when searching and downloading a file from Kad when 
certain requirements are met (this will only start to work once the 
majority of nodes update)

.: The AICH hash can be seen in the search results list for kad searches
if available

.: ed2k links can no longer be created without the AICH Hash, except if 
it is not available. ed2k links without AICH hash are considered 
deprecated, but are still accepted by eMule for now

PeerBlock pre beta 1.1 r320

What's New

Here are the major changes since the most recent Beta Release, r277:

* Fix for List-Download Crash - This should resolve the "PeerBlock randomly crashes / disappears overnight" problems. It had been crashing occasionally, on some people's computers, while checking for updated lists.
* Save Failed Lists - If a newly downloaded list fails verification, we'll now save that file as "...\lists\numnumnum.list.failed".
* Warn if Exit While Blocking Recently - When you attempt to exit PeerBlock, if we've blocked some non-HTTP packet recently (i.e. within the past 60 seconds), we will pop up a warning message. This 60 second value is configurable by hand-editing peerblock.conf via Notepad - change the RecentBlockWarntime setting from 60 to however many seconds you'd like; 0 disables this feature.
* Force PeerBlock to Start Enabled - If PeerBlock was disabled when you last exited it, it will now start as Enabled the next time you restart it.
* Allow HTTP for X minutes - The systray right-click menu has two new options: "Allow HTTP for 15 minutes" and "...for 60 minutes". After the specified amount of time has passed, PeerBlock will revert to Blocking HTTP again.
* Click on tray icon to minimize window - Previously, left-clicking on the systray icon would merely display the PeerBlock window . . . even if it was previously displayed. Now, if the window is currently displayed left-clicking on the tray-icon will minimize it; and if the window is currently minimized, it will restore it.

It is available for auto updating the library that manages the downloading from different servers. This update is only for version 2.28. With this auto update addresses some problems with multiple servers. These issues are:

- The downloads 4shared gave error and could not download anything from this server. This is fixed and you can back down from here.

- Critical error that occurred sometimes lose Letitbit to terminate the account after 60 seconds.

- Failed to get file name for some links gigasize whose name was too long.

When you open the program that you will issue an auto update available and ask if you want to install it. Only you have to click on if you and the program is closed, and run the updater. This program will download and install the update and will reopen RDesc.

If will not install correctly and every time you open the program notifies you close the program, go to the folder where it was installed and run the ActuRDhost.exe and install the update.

Y!TunnelPro V2.5 Build 614 is now available for download. Build 614 includes several minor enhancements and a handful of fixes related to issues reported in previous releases.

* Updated the buddy list handler to address some minor issues dealing with extremely large buddy lists.
* Updated the Ad blocker to better deal with certain ads. These updates also address some users were having with the chat window acting sluggish or unresponsive.
* Updated the text entry handler to address an issue with chat commands such as "/join" being truncated.
* Fixed a problem with the main filtering engine to address an issue with some elements not being removed from users text if certain font filtering settings were not enabled.
* Fixed a problem with the font/typeface filtering which prevented the minimum font size from being applied to chat, conference and private messages.
* Fixed a problem in the buddy list which caused it to incorrectly report the number of pending buddy requests and size number of users on the ignore list.
* Updated the integration module to address an issue with Y!TunnelPro specific menus from being incorrectly drawn.
* Fixed a problem that causes the tooltips for the Enhanced Emoticon Chooser to be displayed when when the mouse is moved away from the window.
* Updated Spam Filtering preferences to include an option to display blocked spam in the mini-activity logger. This setting is stored in the system registry differently than in previous versions and is currently not migrated during installation. If you previously had this setting enabled you will need to go into preferences and enable it.
* Updated auto-update settings so they are now on by default. Note: this only affects first time installations.
* Updated the integration module to provide better support for language packs and international versions of Messenger. This update allows you to use versions of Messenger that are specific to your geological/national region.
* Added an additional chat command "/ib" that allows you to ignore a user and force the ignore message to be broadcast to the chat room even if the feature has been disabled in preferences.
* Added a new filter to remove "tattoos" from chat messages.
* Update the spam sentry/live user verification to display status information in the mini-activity logger.
* Updated the integration module so that the 10 most recent rooms are easily accessible at key points for joining a room. Currently you can access the recent rooms list from the following areas:

o The "chat" menu in the Messenger buddy list.
o The "chat" menu in chatroom windows (right under the Favorites Room entry).
o By right clicking the "Select Chatroom" button in the enhanced chatroom toolbar

This program will allow you to scan your YM buddies or any YID to see if they are online, even if they are in invisible or stealthed! It also has the option to see if the target has their webcam being broadcasted in Yahoo Messenger.

YTK is a Security Application that runs alongside Yahoo! Messenger in order to enhance its functionality, remove unwanted annoyances (Adverts) and protect the end user from malicious Instant Message/Chatroom activity such as denial of service (booting). YTK protects your privacy by verifying inbound communications against it's privacy settings and an internal ignore and safe list.

--> Fixed a bug in Webcam Presence Verification Scanning resulting in the scanner picking up your own name in the chat room and scanning it.

--> Fixed the avatar checksum packet zoning so it's no longer blocked when sent from buddies and safe list users (they're now blocked only if they're sent by chat users and unknown users).

--> Fixed the Yahoo! Messenger [YM] Update Server Selector so it now saves the server properly.

--> Fixed a bug in the handling of legacy add buddy request packets so both the sender and recipient names are parsed correctly and an automatic rejection is sent when necessary (based on your invitation zone settings for add buddy request filtering).
